Choosing between two cars

I’d narrowed it down to two cars, but the more research I did, the less sure I became. Talking to someone who’d actually driven both helped me work out which one was right for me, and why.

Confidence before buying

I was pretty sure I’d chosen the right car, but when you’re spending that much money, pretty sure isn’t enough. A quick conversation with someone who really knew the car gave me the confidence to go ahead.

Getting an independent view

I’d done the research and spoken to a couple of dealers, but I wanted an opinion from someone who had nothing to sell me. I got a straight, impartial answer that made the decision much easier.

Fixing a setup issue

My car just didn’t feel right and I couldn’t work out whether it was the tyres, pressures or alignment. The expert gave me a clear list of things to check and, after a couple of changes, the car felt completely different. Thank you.

Modifications

I wanted to improve the car without ruining what made it good or hurting the resale value. We talked through what would genuinely make a difference and what wasn’t worth the money. It probably saved me from buying a lot of parts I didn’t need.

Preparing for a track day
